SonoSim, Inc., a leading global provider of ultrasound education and training, has publicly announced a new international partnership with the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP). CAEP provides continuing medical education throughout Canada, advocates on the behalf of emergency physicians and their patients, and plays a vital role in the development of national medical standards and clinical guidelines. Together, SonoSim, Inc. and CAEP will bring ultrasound education and training to emergency departments across Canada.
“CAEP is excited to partner with SonoSim to provide CAEP members with an additional education tool that will be utilized in our ultrasound-training program assisting clinicians at the patient’s bedside,” states Lynn Garrow, Executive Director at CAEP.
“We’re thrilled to partner with CAEP to expand our mission of providing quality ultrasound training and education to Canada’s leading emergency physicians,” states SonoSim’s Vice President of Strategic Alliances, Heidi Wienckowksi.
As the national voice of emergency medicine, the Canadian Association of Emergency Medicine (CAEP) provides continuing medical education, advocates on behalf of emergency physicians and their patients, supports research, and strengthens the emergency medicine community. In co-operation with other specialties and committees, CAEP also plays a vital role in the development of national standards and clinical guidelines.
CAEP keeps Canadian emergency physicians informed of developments in the clinical practice of emergency medicine and addresses political and societal changes that affect the delivery of emergency health care. www.caep.ca
