Launch of the Laerdal-SonoSim Procedure Trainer (LSPT)
SonoSim and Laerdal Medical have jointly launched a comprehensive and standardized ultrasound-guided central line cannulation training solution: LSPT. As a ground-breaking part-task trainer, LSPT provides learners with the opportunity to practice the skills needed for ultrasound-guided procedures, such as needle tip tracking and manipulation, in a risk-free environment. Real-patient anatomy and Doppler functionality further provide learners with the benefits of practicing on real patients with none of the associated risks.
Match SCCM's Ultrasound Training Recommendations

In order to achieve competency in critical care ultrasound, SCCM published an official statement outlining both knowledge- and skills-based training objectives. To help providers and GME programs integrate the objectives, SonoSim has created a Critical Care Curriculum Checklist matching SonoSim Modules to the ultrasound recommendations
Putting SonoSim Livescan® to the Test at UCLA's Ultrafest

This February, members at the David Geffen School of Medicine put their ultrasound scanning skills to the test at UCLA’s Ultrafest 2019. Utilizing SonoSim LiveScan, healthy volunteers were instantly transformed into patients with pathologic conditions using scanning data from real patients.
