New Pathologic Ultrasound Cases Added to SonoSim CaseBuilder Library
New pathologic conditions have been added to the SonoSim CaseBuilder library. Newly added cases include pericardial effusion, pleural effusion, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, AAA, bladder calculi, and more.

Enhanced Doppler Training within the SonoSimulator

Doppler functionality (M-mode, Power, CFD, PWD, and CWD) has been expanded to select cases within the SonoSimulator. Learners can now save acquired ultrasound images and corresponding Doppler clips for review. Instructors can view saved Doppler images and provide detailed feedback using SonoSim Performance Tracker.
Upper Airway: Anatomy & Physiology Module Upgraded
New upper airway scanning cases are available in the Upper Airway: Anatomy & Physiology Module. These new cases develop your upper airway image acquisition and interpretation ability through the use of color-flow Doppler to differentiate key structures.

Ultrasound Tip: Optimize Biliary System Visualization

To optimize biliary system visualization, a transabdominal anterior approach with supine or lateral decubitus positioning, or a lateral intercostal approach with supine positioning can be used. These techniques may displace the gallbladder inferiorly and/or displace overlying bowel gas, and enable optimal visualization.
