Real patient-based SonoSim®
The expansive hands-on training library covers a wide range of echocardiography topics. Real patient-based SonoSim® CaseVolumes are available in the SonoSim® Ultrasound Training Solution: Basic Edition. The CaseVolumes cover a broad spectrum of normal and cardiac pathology cases. Using a proprietary mobile data acquisition platform new cases are added on an ongoing basis, enabling rapid growth of the SonoSim® CaseVolume library.
SonoSim® Ultrasound Training Solution users will virtually scan real patient ultrasound CaseVolumes comprising a myriad of cardiac pathologies. They will need to use the exact probe movements the original expert echocardiographers used to scan the original patients. Users are provided probe-positioning guidance to assist psychomotor skill development. Hands-on training is achieved using a handheld SonoSim® Sensor connected to a laptop computer creating a virtual patient-imaging environment. The SonoSim® Sensor replicates the exact tactile experience of using an actual ultrasound probe to scan a patient, creating an authentic and life-like experience. The fidelity is amazing.
