SonoSim is excited to announce several recent product enhancements designed to improve your ultrasound teaching and learning experience. From a redesigned course interface to clinically rich regional anesthesia training and a powerful new exam prep tool, these updates are part of our ongoing commitment to innovation in ultrasound education.
The SonoSim® Course-Taking Experience has been fully redesigned to better support the way clinicians and students learn today. The updated interface introduces a cleaner, more modern layout that improves navigation across modular content. Learners can now progress through lessons more efficiently and review materials at their own pace.
Enhancements include full-screen viewing for an immersive study experience, flexible playback controls to adjust video speed, and movable transcripts that can be positioned according to user preference. Additionally, Knowledge Check scores are now automatically saved, helping learners monitor their progress over time.
These updates are now available across SonoSim online courses. Users can log in and begin exploring the improvements immediately.

SonoSim has significantly expanded its Introduction to Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia module to include scanning cases sourced from real patients. This update enhances the realism and clinical applicability of the training experience, providing learners with the opportunity to practice procedural skills in a risk-free, virtual setting.
The module now features four scanning cases: three developed from real patient ultrasound cases and one Skillbox case designed for focused repetition. Users have the opportunity to scan relevant imaging windows, such as the fascia iliaca, rectus sheath, and median nerve at the forearm. Guided instruction is also provided for performing ultrasound-guided nerve block procedures, including the fascia iliaca plane block and the median nerve block.
Please note: To access these new scanning cases, users must upgrade to the latest version of the SonoSim software.

SonoSim has released a new Test Preparation tool to support clinicians preparing for the Critical Care Echocardiography Examination (CCEeXAM*). This new tool includes access to a robust QuestionBank of over 2,900 questions that reflect the structure and content domains of the actual exam.
Content areas include functional anatomy, clinical diagnosis and management, technical skills and equipment optimization, and integrated ultrasound imaging. Learners can also take a full-length mock exam consisting of 200 questions, structured to simulate the timing and content distribution of the real CCEeXAM®.
Previously SonoSim has released popular and proven test prep functionality for both the SPI exam and the AEMUS-FPD exam.
The new CCEexam test prep tool is available now through the SonoSim Member Portal.
