A key advantage of this approach for LVOT evaluation is the alignment of the ultrasound beam with blood flow, ensuring a more parallel orientation. This parallel positioning enhances the accuracy of Doppler-derived blood-flow measurements through the LVOT, reducing angle-related errors and improving hemodynamic assessment.
