Ultrasound Training for OB/GYN

Comprehensive OB/GYN Ultrasound Training Courses From Basic to Advanced

Comprehensive OB/GYN Ultrasound Training & Virtual Scanning Practice

SonoSim's Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB GYN) ultrasound training content was developed to empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound imaging. Our comprehensive curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics, including fetal development, placental anatomy and function, maternal pelvic anatomy, and reproductive pathology. Through our interactive curriculum, advanced simulation technology, and real-life case studies, we offer an immersive learning experience that prepares learners to move on to OBGYN ultrasound scanning at the bedside.

SonoSim offers over 55 hours of comprehensive online OB GYN ultrasound training specifically designed to help DMS programs prepare students for careers in OBGYN ultrasound, graduate medical education programs train residents, and simulation centers train various types of practitioners in OBGYN ultrasound. The SonoSim curriculum adheres to AIUM consensus recommendations designed to improve OBGYN ultrasound examinations. Given the technical difficulty of ultrasound examinations, access to a comprehensive, standardized, and collaborative process for ultrasound training can significantly enhance the expertise and competency of trainees.

With a focus on first-, second-, and third-trimester obstetric care, SonoSim ultrasound training covers crucial OB learning objectives such as IUP determination, screening for ectopic pregnancy, fetal biometry, growth assessment, fetal well-being, and prenatal diagnosis of anomalies.

In the realm of GYN ultrasound, we delve into the evaluation of uterine and adnexal pathologies, including fibroids, ovarian cysts, ultrasound of ovarian masses, ovarian torsion ultrasound, leiomyomas, adenomyosis, endometrial abnormalities, uterine malignancy, and more.

Comprehensive Training for OB/GYN Ultrasound Mastery

Add or Expand Expertise with our OB/GYN Ultrasound Training

SonoSim's proprietary platform empowers learners to develop a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound protocols, image interpretation, and the use of ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in obstetric and gynecologic care. The standardized curriculum is organized into 12 topics including 125+ SonoSimulator hands-on training cases across a variety of essential OBGYN ultrasound topics. New opportunities to expand OBGYN ultrasound knowledge and virtual scanning opportunities are added regularly through SonoSim Challenge Cases.

With SonoSim Online Courses, learners are immersed in digital multimedia-based OB/GYN Ultrasound Training with audio, video, illustrations, and real pathologic case studies, taking didactic learning to a whole new level.

The SonoSimulator provides learners with the opportunity to practice virtually scanning real patient cases, ranging from learning normal anatomy and performing basic ultrasound screening exams, to sonographic examination of complex obstetric scenarios and gynecologic pathologies. This hands-on experience enables learners to refine their scanning technique and enhance their ability to recognize and diagnose various conditions, so they can get the most out of clinical practice.

Basic Obstetric Ultrasound Exam - Six-Step Approach
